New Year, Same Me (I'm Plugging Along)

I weighed myself yesterday. For the whole year, I lost 5.1 pounds.  That is 5.1 pounds I didn't gain. That is 5.1 pounds less on an airplane seat.  That is 5.1 pounds I don't have to carry on my body.  While it seems miniscule to some, I'll take it. Especially since I decided to eat (and drink) nonstop from October to the end of the year.

I have run 2 miles so far this year.

My wish is to lose 10.2 pounds (or more) this year.  I know I can do it.

I'll do better this year. I got to, since I am going to visit my parents and friends in June. Agh!

Good job for 2 miles .... Little baby steps... right?

That's great. losing 5.1 is WAY better than gaining 5.1 which is about what I gained between Nov 20 - Dec 31. :-) So... My goal is to lose 10. The 5 I gained and 5 more. That's it! 5 more. So doable.

I think the stomach flu is the only reason I didn't gain weight...especially in the last two weeks! EGADS!!!

It definitely makes a difference! I gained some weight this year because of medication and I have realized how much every pound counts.

Oh my. I just saw your comment on my blog about oil on Pizza Hut's pizza. Haha. I hate having that greasy lips after eating their pizza, so that's why I made my own today. But man... grease tastes so yummy!

Any loss is a good loss. Well, to an extent at least. But you didn't gain lbs, you gained health. And that's a good thing. Stick with it!
