Weight I have lost

Thank you for the Bushes!

So Friday, I got home early ( I got to work early) and decided to go for a run in the 'hood. Granted I have sucked in exercise lately, I decided to do the 1 mile route twice (actually 3 times).
So Po, Guinness and I started on the warm-up where they did their business.
We dropped Po at home and were on our way. We went up the hill and I wanted to die. Guinness wanted to go faster. We came back down the hill and back up another and were fine. Got to the Great Dane's house. He was outside on his deck. Still scared me when he and Guinness started chatting. Ran to the end of the subdivision and back past GD and up the hill. Thought I was going to die. Turned instead of going to my house to finish the mile, because I knew if I went there I would go inside. So Guinness and I started on Mile 2. We finished that street and ran to our house, to complete Mile 1 and then ran the rest of it. Got home finally and hacked and hacked. Then I took Po for my cool down. She does not like walking. Eating weeds are her thing, so it was a fun walk.
Terrible headache...ah spring and pollen.

Saturday I woke up and had a massive sinus headache. I'm allergic to birch and cedar, because my head hurts on lowest pollen days and they are always on those days. At 4 I decided to try out my bike (my shorts came on Friday). I started off strong falling into the wall of the garage.
So I rode from the garage to the alleyway to the front of the house, and up past 3 more houses. In my head I was going to the main street (OH GOD!) but I can't seem to get up the hill in front of my house very well. So I got up as far as I was going to go, and turned, and changed gears, and ran up on the curb onto the neighbor's lawn, ran into their bushes and fell over. And too think, I wasn't going to wear my helmet...j/k.

So I did this little route 3 more times for .62 miles. By then my head felt like it was going to fall off (sinus), and my chest was wheezing.

This morning, my legs were so sore. I'm wondering why biking is so much harder than running. Hopefully it will get easier. Supposed to run today but after 3 Claritin and no relief, I'm hiding in the bedroom hoping my head will fall off.

March, the worst month of the year to me... Is it bad I hate spring? By the end of April I should feel better. I can't wear my glasses, because they sit on the sinus cavity.

I have my results but they are upstairs...so I'll post that later.

I cannot imagine biking up a serious hill! I biked about 7 miles this afternoon (after the 5 mile run/walk workout this morning... yes, I am crazy), and it was a breeze until I hit what would truly be characterized as a bit of an incline. A real hill... YIKES!

I hope your big allergies pass quickly and April brings you relief.

When I read the post title in my reader, I thought you were going to do political commentary...LOL...

I've been sucking down Claritin all weekend, and I know that the bad spring stuff won't hit me here for at least another month.

Sorry for the sinus trouble. There is nothing worse than feeling like your head will explode! Hope it clears quickly.

I've been trying to bike, too. I thought hills were hard on foot!
