Weight I have lost

Thank God February is over

So, I don't even know where to begin. But Happy 35th Birthday was possibly the worst one yet!

So at the beginning of the month, the doctor did talk to me about PMDD. Yaz was out because it causes weight gain. We decided I would never buy a gun (something I already knew), and he suggested some partial hysterectomy. Less drastic, I could just continually stay on BC. So we are trying that first.

He was also concerned about my weight, lack of loss, and my exercise. So more thryoid tests. Again all normal. Blah blah blah.

So Feb 18 was my birthday. D and I went out on the 17th, and on the 18th we went to see Bodies. We went to dinner, and were in Target considering a Wii, when my brother called. He said HB and talked and then he asked if I was driving. I said no, I was in Target. So he told me my grandmother died. So I didn't get the Wii, but I did cry.

Thursday was worse because my Aunts told me some more of the story, and shame on that hospital (my gma died alone).

Anyway we went up to DC (BTW don't ever take Airtran. They suck!!!) We saw my grandfather, we saw my relatives, we saw D's parents, we saw lots. My grandfather is taking it very hard. We did the whole funeral thing, I was a complete mess, we had a party, and after 5 years my dad and I talked.

So we got back to ATL, and Monday and Tuesday were a mess because it was my gpa's birthday and I was so sad that his friend had died. I did call him. I'm still very sad, but it is getting easier.

So then this past weekend, my friend was in town, and I think I ate and drank my wieght. I had a blast.

So you might have noticed, no mention of exercise. Nada. None.

But I have been toying with the idea of a triathlon, despite the fact I don't know how to ride a bike. My grandmother pushed me to do it. Once I get my next paycheck...Tri 2 Remember will have me a a participant.

Totally terrified, but eh.

And shout out to Viv for sending me the Tri Book!

Sorry again for your loss, Al.

Good luck on the Tri training! I have never attempted one because I don't know how to swim.
Yay Viv for sending the book!
