I al...I agree that cooking at home is a huge help. I also suggest keeping a 'food' journal for a short period of time. See what/howmuch you're really consuming. I found that I could cut way back by cutting out drinks and still eat the way I (mostly) wanted and make a significant impact. Also that the candy bowl at work is not my friend.
